@LinuxHandbook 17. I think it was Red Hat 4.2, I think? Whatever stable version was back in 1997. I also tried Debian and Slackware. Even though it wasn't my primary flavor of Unix that I preferred (that would be FreeBSD), I would still use Debian, Red Hat and later Ubuntu for work.
