This @OPB ID frame is still seared into my mind. I remember a number of times when there were technical difficulties and a frame like this would just stay on the screen for minutes at a time with no audio. Can't remember if there was a recorded message that played after a while.

Another frame that is seared into my mind was the single frame that was used for the Portland Nursery sponsor spot. It would stay on the screen for a few seconds after the message was read without any sound. Usually, I would see either of those later at night and it'd spook me.

On a related topic, I would remember watching "Write Right" during the afternoons when I was home during the summer and the only channel I would have on was @OPB. This is one of those episodes youtube.com/watch?v=UoPseOrsX3g
