  1. I'm now down to the last 3-4 episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise and I have to say... I wish I didn't wait until now to watch it. I think I avoided watching it back when it first aired because I was burnt out of Star Trek after TNG, DS9 and VOY.

I didn't watch it between then and now mostly because I wasn't sure that I would like it based on other people's grumblings and rantings. Instead, I had gone through and watched TOS through VOY from start to finish, including the movies, before finally deciding to watch ENT.

I can see why they chose Scott Bakula for Captain Archer; but, I don't think he was the right fit, be it due to writing style, acting style or whether or not he had artistic freedom to stretch his performance. He just comes off as wooden and not likable as Sisko or Janeway.

T'Pol's hanging tight on being Vulcan reminds me of Worf's overtures of what it means to be Klingon, but turned up to 11. I'm not sure I like what they did with the character towards the end re being addicted to the side-effects of trellium.

Reed was fine, though there were definitely moments where he really was just exuded in being insufferable. It was nice to see him checked and grounded during his conflicts with Major Hayes.

I think Mayweather being somewhat torn being a boomer, leaving between his family for Starfleet made him be more than just a helmsman and shuttle pilot. I think I've already mentioned in a past tweet that Phlox is what I really wished Neelix should have been like on VOY.

Tucker... definitely the brash, hot-head of the crew and really played into the hate for the Xindi after the attack on Earth. It was nice to see his character grew in the latter two seasons.

I kind of felt like Sato was the punching bag of the bunch when it came to afflictions, kidnappings, etc. It was a little irritating that she would "give up" really quickly over and over again.

Considering the amount of time traveling that was already included in the whole Cabal plot arc and the Sphere Builder/Xindi arc, the other time travel and parallel universe episodes just felt like filler more than anything else.

I may not like what Soval's actor is like IRL, but I started liking the character more as the series started coming to a close. Shran... oh, how I like him and Jeffrey Coombs so much! I'm glad that he was the long-running foe-turned-ally character that faced Archer.

I would have hoped that the Augments arc would have actually touched on Botany Bay more than just being a throwaway line or two. I kind of knew that Arik Soong would make a reference to what would eventually become what Noonian Soong ends up creating.

I sorta liked that they dedicated some time what happened with the Klingons and how it explained their appearances in TOS. I kind if wished it was earlier in the series (along with the Augments arc it's a part of) rather than being thrown in along with everything in Season 4.

Interesting that they are fitting in the final episode in with the whole Pressman/Riker finding the Pegasus thing from TNG. I mean, the whole episode could have done without it being a holodeck thing.
