  1. I've been using my 2021 16" MBP (M1 Max 24c GPU) on battery since this afternoon with Energy Mode set to "Low Power". I'm still at 82% and the entire laptop is cool to the touch, even if I'm going through installing the rest of the software and doing my weekly podcast hoarding.
