@nicolemark_ What's the spec on your M1 MacBook Air? 16 GB of RAM could definitely be a limiting factor. Having a few more performance cores might help as well. That said, both the 14" and 16" Apple Silicon laptops are chonkers, even compared to my 2019 16" MBP.
