@vwdasher Oregon is a blue state due to the higher concentration of liberal/Democratic party voters in the larger cities and counties. The rural counties, while large and more sparsely populated, lean conservative/Republican.

@vwdasher But, even then, as you move towards the outer areas of the tri-county Portland metro area (Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington), you'll start seeing it turn purple and/or red pretty quickly.
